Camp Erin Camp Volunteers participate in our annual weekend long camp in October by supporting children and teens who have experienced the death of someone special. Camp Erin serves 60+ children and teens and many volunteers are needed to make it successful.
Camp Erin relies on the commitment of well-trained volunteers to join the Grief Support staff and bereavement specialists in presenting a safe, fun, and supportive camp experience. Click to read the Camp Erin volunteer descriptions. Volunteer positions include:
- Cabin Big Buddies: participate in and/or facilitate sharing activities with their assigned campers throughout the weekend.
- Day Support: ensure the smooth operation of camp by assisting with activities and providing logistical support.
- Welcome/Registration and End of Camp Tear Down: assist with greeting and registering campers, setting-up for the weekend and/or provide logistical support for closing time at the camp.
