Exciting Update for Our Communication Tools!
As you may have heard, we’re moving our texting communications to Microsoft Teams
We’re always looking for ways to improve our communication and collaboration at Hospice of Santa Cruz County, and we have listened to the challenges you have voiced about our current internal communications. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are transitioning our texting communications to Microsoft Teams! This change will help streamline our interactions and keep us connected more efficiently.
What This Means for You:
During the week of May 20, all our secure texting communications will shift from TigerText to Microsoft Teams. This change allows us to keep all our conversations, files, and tools in one convenient place, which means less switching between apps and more focus on what matters most—providing exceptional care to our patients.
We understand that changes can take some adjustment, so we’ll be providing training sessions on how to use Microsoft Teams effectively. This webpage (and Relias) will act as repositories of training materials, so feel free to check in often to see if your questions have been answered.
There will be plenty of training materials, open office hours, and training sessions in the coming weeks, but please do not feel overwhelmed. This is an agency-wide endeavor, and we want everyone to succeed. As we approach launch, and even post-launch, you will have plenty of opportunities for support.
We’re excited to make this transition and are confident that Microsoft Teams will help us stay connected and organized. It has already been a long journey of discovery to find the right tools for moving forward, and while no solution is perfect, we really think this will help alleviate stressors in your day. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the IT support team or a leader of one of our workgroups.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to improving the way we work together!”
