SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS

The death of a loved one can be a difficult experience for children and teens.  As a parent or guardian of a grieving child, you may want some guidance and support in helping your child cope with the death of a loved one.

Our Grief Support Program for children and teens is open to the community.  Your family does not have to receive other hospice services to participate.  Due to the generous support of our donors, our program is provided free of charge.

If you would like more information, please call us at (831) 430-3000 and ask for the Grief Support Program.

Individual Counseling:  A counselor can meet with your child or teen to provide support.  The counseling typically incorporates art, play and other creative activities.  Counseling is also available in Spanish.

Camp Erin:  Our weekend camp is October 6 – 8, 2016.  It is offered to children ages 6-17 who are grieving the death of someone close to them.
