Living with Grief Series: When Grief is Complicated
This year’s conference is sold out. If you’d like to receive invites to this annual conference, please join our mailing list.
While most people are able to cope with the pain of loss, roughly 10 to 20 percent of bereaved people have more complex reactions that may impair functioning for a prolonged period of time. This program is designed to assist counselors and others working with the bereaved to understand, assess and assist individuals who may be experiencing complicated forms of bereavement. The presentation begins with an overview of contemporary work on complicated grief, then explores strategies to support grievers.
