About Transforming Loss:

Hospice Foundation of America and Hospice of Santa Cruz County present our annual grief education  webinar Transforming Loss: Finding Potential for Growth. Learn about positive change and finding purpose in the aftermath of loss.

The program will serve a wide range of professionals working with loss, including hospice and palliative care specialists, counselors, clergy, funeral professionals, and anyone who works with bereavement. The program offers clinicians tools to encourage transformative growth in grieving and self-help advice for the bereaved.

A video presentation includes expert panelists include Dr. Ken Doka, Dr. Patti Anewalt, and Dr. Richard Tedeschi. Moderated by Frank Sesno. A local panel of professionals will follow.


Who should attend: This program is designed for professionals who work with bereavement. Grief counselors, mental health therapists, healthcare professionals, funeral home professionals, and anyone else who works with grief is welcome. Professionals may also get credit for Continuing Education Units.
