All of us, at some point, will be faced with caring for aging parents, a spouse or the loss of someone dear to us. Hospice of Santa Cruz County helps to prepare people for these realities. Through our Speakers Bureau, dedicated, trained volunteers visit local groups to talk about hospice services, answer questions, and help people better prepare to care for themselves and their loved ones.
Popular topics include:
- Hospice Care 101: What Everyone Should Know
- Advance Directives: Take Control of Your Future
- The Heart’s Journey: Understanding Grief and Loss
- HUG - Children’s Grief Program: Making a Difference in Young Lives
Our talks are tailored to the needs of any group and are available at no charge. To learn more or to schedule a talk for your group, call our Education and Outreach Coordinator at (831) 430-3078 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
