The rigors and experiences of military service shape a veteran’s life. Veteran generations now aging- WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans- carry unique cultural and social experiences that can complicate their end-of-life experiences, such as how they accept pain relief or emotional support. Moderated by Frank Sesno and followed by an expert local panel, this conference will help providers develop a more complete sensitivity to and understanding of veterans and provide new interventions to better serve ill and dying veterans and their families.
